The ClearSignal™ is a new advanced frequency-filtering system designed by AirLive™ to reject interference in the 2.4 GHz spectrum, so that reliability is improved and connection speed and range are increased in congested areas.
The WL-5470POE device offers a maximum output power of RF 26dBm (via firmware*) so that it is also compatible with the specifications applied in South America. The 26dBm power is 4 times greater than that of all conventional Access Points, giving a much greater communication range.
The QoS Control Function (Traffic Control System) is an ideal tool for controlling the bandwidth of WISP subscribers. With it, WISP operators can offer a different class of connection speed for different subscriptions, just like an ADSL service! The advanced firmware it has can control
the bandwidth by Interface or IP/MAC. 
If you have trouble aligning your antenna correctly relative to another AccessPoint, the DSSFAA (Dynamic Signal Survey Function for Antenna Alignment) function solves the problem for you. It scans the area and gives you the strength and direction of the nearest Access Point. With this capability, the alignment of your antenna is very easy.
During a new WISP service installation, the installer needs to find which external APs (AccessPoints) provide the best signal in the connection area. The WSSF system (wireless site survey function) provides this capability step by step.
The WL-5470POE device provides complete command-line management via the Telnet, SSH or SSH2 interfaces. (Secure Shell or SSH, SSH2 is a network protocol that allows data to be exchanged using a secure channel between two networked devices).
The WL-5470POE device provides both secure and easy web-browser management via the HTTP and HTTPS protocols. Just open your web browser and type in the IP address of the Access Point to start.
With secure HTTPS management (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure is a combination of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol with the SSL/TLS protocol to provide encryption and secure - website security testing - identification of the server), administrators no longer need to worry about information leaks when managing the web pages. All commands are encrypted with SSL to prevent information interception.
With the firmware's Client Isolation function ( (FCIF) complete protection is offered for the security of every user-subscriber's personal data. As a result, subscribers no longer need to worry about hacker attacks on the wireless network.

«The "Emergency" function" that AirLive offers via the web server means that you can recover your Access Point even if the device crashed during a firmware upgrade. This significantly reduces the load on the WISP service from calls for help.

Power over Ethernet lets data and electrical power travel through a single Cat.5 UTP / STP cable, over distances of up to 100 metres. This way the WL-5470POE device can be placed outdoors, while its power source is protected indoors.
