Connect to wireless Wi-Fi networks from very long distances!!
The Tube-UV from ALFA Network (Made in Taiwan) is a high-sensitivity Wi-Fi network card able to detect the weakest Wi-Fi signals, far more than any factory network card in an ordinary computer could detect.
It has a waterproof IP65 enclosure (which makes it ideal for installation on boats and caravans) and comes with a specially shielded 5-metre USB cable designed to prevent power loss.
The Tube-UV is mounted anywhere on the boat, always clear of obstacles that would prevent the antenna from having full line-of-sight over a horizon of 360°.
The direct connection of the antenna to the network card Tube-UV offers the maximum range that can exist between your boat and Hot-spots located on the shore, at a distance of up to 10 nautical miles. It also works and is fully compatible with the relay device (WiFi Extender) AIP-W525HU so that you can additionally share the internet wirelessly with the rest of your group too.
It is specially designed for computers running Windows 2000 / XP / Vista / 7 / 8 / 10, Linux, Mac OS (10.4, 10.5).
