Compact Marine Radio
The ICOM IC-M400BB VHF Marine consists of 2 parts: the controller and the fixed unit. All functions, including DSC operation, can be carried out from the COMMANDMIC™ HM-195B/SW, while the IC-M400BB's RF unit can be installed in a hidden location. The new, user-friendly interface shows the software's key functions along the bottom of the dot-matrix display, which you can select with the right and left buttons. The built-in noise-reduction function reduces ambient noise by up to 90% and improves both incoming and outgoing calls, so you can be heard and hear much more clearly. The IC-M400BB has a built-in 10W speaker that boosts the sound with the additional external speaker. The public-address function lets you make announcements from the microphone as if you had a loud hailer, and the fog horn can also be broadcast from the external speaker.
