The DP2000e series of digital portable radios was designed to meet every user's basic communication needs. They can operate in both analogue and digital mode, so the move from one technology to the other can be gradual and economical. The DP2400e radio has no keypad or display and can be programmed with 16 channels, while the DP2600e has a 2-line display, a partial keypad and can be programmed with 128 channels.
MOTOTRBO digital technology provides the best audio quality along with features essential for an organisation to run well, such as Intelligent Audio, which adjusts the radio's volume according to the ambient sound.
Also, the TDMA technology used by Motorola for digital communication gives up to 40% longer battery life than analogue radios.
The DP2000-series radios can be included in a system of analogue or digital repeaters, and even in an IP Site Connect linked-repeater system.
Finally, all DP2000 portable radios meet MIL STD 810 C, D, E, F & G military standards and satisfy the IP55 ingress-protection standard. They are covered by a two-year warranty for the radios and one year for the accessories and batteries.
