By connecting the AF-GJ7 or ALFA Network TUBE-U (G) wireless network adapter to its port, it automatically turns into an extender-repeater - that is, it rebroadcasts and wirelessly delivers, over a long distance, the Wi-Fi network picked up by the AF-GJ7 adapter to everyone else.
If you have used the AF-GJ7 wireless network adapter or the ALFA Network TUBE-U(G) with your computer, then you know they are the only adapters that can pick up the very weakest Wi-Fi signals far better than any factory-fitted wireless network adapter that comes with a computer.
The R36 is the only router that will let you use the AF-GJ7 or the ALFA Network TUBE-U(G) (sold separately) so you can distribute the remote Wi-Fi signal to other users as well.
