The SeaCell™ SC-556 is an omnidirectional (Omni) MIMO antenna that receives and transmits signal from all directions (360°). It does not need to be aimed precisely at the mobile operator's tower, which makes it ideal for areas with multiple base stations around you or a changing signal direction.
With a gain of up to 14 dBi, the SC-556 boosts already-weak signals, delivering stable, reliable LTE coverage at distances of up to 8 km from the nearest mobile base station (always depending on local conditions, line of sight and obstacles).
It covers the spectrum from 800 MHz to 2600 MHz and supports all the established standards: GSM, 2G, 3G, 4G LTE (800 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 MHz), as well as WiFi frequencies, making it a highly versatile solution for a wide range of applications.
The package includes all the mounting and assembly hardware needed for fitting on a horizontal flat surface or on a vertical wall. For maximum performance, the antenna should be mounted in a vertical, upright position.
The SeaCell™ SC-556 is the ideal solution for installations where the 4G signal a router receives is weak and a substantial signal boost through an external antenna is needed. (Ideal for outdoor mounting at offices, shops, solar parks, holiday homes, leisure boats, etc.)
The package includes 2 x 5 m LMR240 cables, terminated with an SMA male connector, ready to plug straight into most 4G/5G routers.
Cable lengths can be changed on request.

Omnidirectional vs. Directional antenna – which should you choose?
- Receives signal from all directions (360°).
- Suitable when there are many mobile towers around you.
- Ideal for urban areas with good coverage but a weak signal indoors.
- Usually lower gain than a directional antenna, but more forgiving of aiming errors.
- Aims at a specific mobile tower, concentrating the signal energy.
- Ideal when the tower is far away or there are many obstacles / interference.
- Offers higher gain, typically 9–20 dBi.
- Requires correct alignment toward the tower for best performance.
Which is the best choice for you?
➤ If there are many towers around you and you don't know which one gives you the best signal, go for an omnidirectional (Omni) antenna, such as the SeaCell™ SC-556.
➤ If you know where the nearest mobile tower is and it is far away or has significant obstacles in the way, then a directional antenna is usually the better choice.
Extra tip: If your 4G router supports MIMO (2x2), one SC-556 is a good match whereas if your 4G router supports MIMO 4x4, use two SC-556 antennas for even better performance, higher throughput and a more stable signal.
