The MTR3000 is an integrated voice and data repeater/base station, designed specifically to meet the requirements of public-safety installations, applications and professionals.
The MTR3000 has digital operation in conventional MOTOTRBO, in IP Site Connect and in Capacity Plus systems, delivering increased capacity, channel efficiency, integrated digital features and improved voice applications.
In addition, the MTR3000 can also operate in analogue mode for conventional and LTR/Passport Trunking systems, offering a flexible, high-power repeater/base station.
For systems currently using the MTR2000 at high power, a simple upgrade kit is available so users can upgrade their repeaters to the MTR3000 quickly and economically.
Key features of the MTR3000:
- Operates in either analogue or MOTOTRBO mode, with an LED indicating the operating mode for the operator's convenience.
- Reliable operation at 100 Watt power in a Continuous Duty Cycle.
- Programmable channel spacing at 12.5 or 25 kHz.
- Conventional analogue or digital operation is standard on every repeater/base station, with no need for additional software or peripheral equipment.
- Selectable mains supply voltage.
- RoHS compliant (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).
- 1-year factory warranty
Additional features of the MTR3000 programmed in digital mode.
- Supports two simultaneous voice channels in a 12.5kHz bandwidth using TDMA (time-division multiplexing).
- Splits the existing channel into two time slots for double the capacity through the same repeater.
- Supports the IP Site Connect system for covering larger areas
- Supports the Capacity Plus system for single-site trunking with no additional hardware controller
Innovations in repeater installation and maintenance
- Diagnostic and configuration software that provides remote or local monitoring of the repeater
- Easy component replacement with separate units (FRU, Field Replaceable Units)
- The software-based design simplifies upgrading the
- Easily accessible inputs on the repeater without needing to remove the front panel, thus reducing installation and maintenance time.
