New Stellacontrol platform

Advantages of the new platform:

The new platform gives you much more control during system installation and management.

It offers many new capabilities that help with troubleshooting and managing your devices.

Improved security - passwords, detailed permissions, privacy, encryption and a solid foundation for adding new services in the future.

The new platform offers the following services:
 

• Status and settings (live signal strength view, gain control, band switching, remote device optimisation)
• StellaDoradus GSM repeaters have 3 important advantages:
• Overview of the live status of entire buildings
• History charts (view past measurements, quickly find and resolve problems)
• Firmware upgrades (they have the latest, most optimised software version)

These services are free for the first year.

After that, to continue these services, customers can pay monthly or annual subscriptions to re-register for them.

After the first free year, this service will be discontinued. To continue the service you will need to register and pay.

Note that if you do not start the service, the device will not be accessible on the internet.

If a new device is connected to the internet but the service is not started for the first free year, the service will start automatically after 10 days.

If the device is offline and the device is not activated, the subscription will not start.

Alerts:

There are 2 email alerts available:

• If the devices are accidentally switched off (or a power outage). You can see exactly which device is off and also its location in the building. All devices have an internal battery that keeps the internet connection alive for a few hours
• If a device weakens due to local RF noise or RF interference, the system will alert you. For example: large microwave ovens can, in rare cases, cause RF problems.

Remote control from any computer/phone:

• Enable/disable or mute individual bands of any device.
• Switch off the power on one or all devices in a building. The devices' RF module is disabled, but it remains connected to the Internet.
• Restart the devices.

Display:

• Up/down link power
• Up/down link gains
• Up/Downlink AGC
• Up/down link oscillation/feedback
• Motherboard temperature

History:

• All events are logged from the first installation date for each device.
• Usage percentage of each band.
  Example: 800 MHz: 60%, 900 MHz: 20%, 1800 MHz: 5%, 2100 MHz: 15%, 2600 MHz: 0%

Security and Cloud:

The application infrastructure is physically located in the AWS (Amazon Web Services) data centre in Europe (Ireland). With AWS, we can benefit from the strict security standards AWS maintains for its infrastructure and meet many compliance requirements. The system can be expanded with more repeaters and line amplifiers to ensure coverage even in the largest multi-storey buildings.
