HD-CVI Cameras

HD-CVI carries high-definition video over ordinary coaxial cable, or over UTP with baluns — so an existing analogue CCTV installation can be upgraded to HD without rewiring the building.

Unlike IP, the video is uncompressed and travels point to point, so there is no encoding delay on a live view and no network to configure or secure.

Widely used in shops, homes, banks, hotels, police stations and public buildings where the cable is already in the walls.
