LC 2 HERMES GSM Remote-Control Station.

The HERMES LC 2 device is a complete Remote-Control and Remote-Monitoring device over the GSM network, controlled from a mobile phone via SMS messages.

Using a mobile phone and simple, clear SMS messages, it is possible to remotely control and monitor any device, machine or instrument, such as: Water Supply & Irrigation systems, Alarm Systems, Radio & TV Repeaters, Pumping Stations, Generator Sets, etc. located in remote places.

If, for example, there is a change in the operating state of a unit at a pumping station, the HERMES LC 2 will send an SMS message to predefined mobile phones describing the event in plain text, along with the date and time.

If we want to act on a monitored device (e.g. to stop an irrigation unit or change the state of an Alarm System), then by sending a predefined SMS message from our mobile phone to the HERMES LC device we can stop its operation or change its state.

We are also automatically informed by SMS message of any change in the state of any device, machine or instrument.

The major advantage of the HERMES LC 2 is its very simple, clear configuration through software supplied free of charge, which has more configuration options than any other device of the same cost.

It is also possible to configure the device remotely via SMS messages, so that a technician does not need to travel to the site where it is installed.

The HERMES LC 2 device has:

• 6 digital outputs. 2 of the outputs are controlled via a 5A/250V relay.
• A socket for an external GSM antenna.
• The digital inputs are configurable as NO, NC, Bistable.
