That is why the SeaCell™ QR-X50S was built — the first and only wireless 5G-4G/LTE dual-SIM Wi-Fi router in the world that also has a built-in vessel tracking & fleet management system (GPS/GSM Tracking System).
The SeaCell QR-X50S was designed on the principle of doing away with external 4G & WiFi antennas and the coaxial feeder cables on the boat, providing a complete, all-in-one, compact 5G-4G/LTE Wi-Fi marine router that minimises the total installation time and the cost of buying and fitting the individual parts of a conventional installation and – most importantly – eliminates signal losses through the coaxial cables, resulting in excellent communication, greater range, higher speeds and, at the same time, a full vessel tracking & fleet management system (GPS/GSM Tracking System).
The SeaCell QR-X50S is equipped with high-gain internal 5G/4G/WiFi/GPS/BLUETOOTH antennas that receive the satellite and internet signal and create a personal, secure WiFi network inside the boat that can be used at the same time by up to 50 different devices. In addition, if a known Wi-Fi network is available (for example the marina's Wi-Fi), the SeaCell QR-X50S will connect to it automatically to limit internet data charges.
WiFi NETWORK
The SeaCell QR-X50S, with its housing-integrated WiFi antennas and a reliable 802.11n WiFi signal reaching wireless N speeds of up to 300Mbps, transmits over a radius of up to 150 metres from the router, with up to 50 devices able to connect to it at the same time.
INTERNET SUPPLY
With 5G antennas placed at various locations along the coast and a clear line of sight to the boat while it is under way, the signal can be extended to a range of up to 30 nautical miles from shore (it depends on the height at which the device is mounted). In addition, if a known Wi-Fi network is available (for example at the marina's hot-spots), the QR-X50S will connect to it automatically to limit GSM network charges.
ADVANCED REMOTE MANAGEMENT
Designed to provide remote diagnostics, configuration and firmware upgrade capabilities, the QR-X50S allows many issues to be diagnosed and resolved over the air without requiring a technician to travel on site to check the network and WiFi connection status.
INSTALLATION
The individual units of the QR-X50S are housed in a UV-protected dome mounted at a high point on the boat, so that it achieves many times the range and higher speeds while at the same time maximising WiFi signal distribution inside the boat.
To operate the QR-X50S, all you need is a 9–30 VDC power cable and one or two SIM cards. All this makes the QR-X50S very easy to install and manage.
