The Zcomm™ ZP-40 is a portable Wireless Digital Tour Guide System with medium range, used to transmit audio messages from one or more tour guides/presenters to one or more audiences.

The System consists of:

  • 1 x Aluminium wheeled case - charger 40 slots
  • 39 x ZC-300 Receivers & 31 x D-Shape Earphones
  • 1 x ZC-400 Transmitter & 1 x Headset Microphone


The presenter speaks into the microphone of the purpose-built digital transmitter, ZC-400 and listeners use the lightweight receivers ZC-300 with headphones to hear the guide's voice clearly.

Ultra-lightweight Transmitter & Receiver

Weighing less than 68 g and measuring just 47 × 18 × 65 mm, the transmitters and receivers of the Zcomm™ system are among the lightest on the market. The 50 communication channels allow multiple parallel tours to run in the same location, while their compact size makes them ideal for all-day use, without bothering the user.

Outstanding Audio Clarity

With digital design and special filters for strong interference rejection, the Zcomm™ System provides clear, reliable and secure voice transmission. The guide's voice comes through clearly, even in noisy environments.

System Range

The maximum range of the transmitter in open space, with no physical or other obstructions, is approximately 180 m, comfortably covering tours in outdoor areas, factories or campuses.

Usage Examples

City Centre Tour
The guide speaks calmly into the microphone of the Zcomm™ transmitter, while visitors, wearing a lightweight headphone and ZC-300 receiver, adjust the volume themselves. The group stays focused on what the guide is saying, while reducing the strain on the guide's voice.
Museum Tour
The guide whispers into a headset microphone without disturbing other visitors. Each visitor has a receiver and headphone, adjusts the volume and moves around comfortably, with a belt clip & lanyard for free hands.
Noisy Factory Tour
The company representative uses a low-noise microphone connected to the transmitter, while a second representative can add comments from a second transmitter. Visitors hear both of them through their receivers, with clear audio despite the high ambient noise.
Excursion / University Class Tour
The lecturer speaks into the microphone of the Zcomm™ transmitter without needing to raise their voice, while students hear clearly through receivers with headphones, even if spread out over a large area. A second transmitter can be used for questions or a second language, so that everyone in the group can be heard.
