UPS-1212 – 12V Uninterruptible Power Supply in a DIN Rail Box
The UPS-1212 is an uninterruptible power supply, designed for mounting in a DIN Rail plastic panel box. It uses microprocessor for continuous monitoring of the device and protects the load against short circuit, over-voltage and overheating.
In the event of a mains power cut, the UPS-1212 switches the supply to its battery, with a transfer time of < 30 mS, ensuring continuous operation of critical systems.
UPS1212 Functions & States
- Powered from mains:
The UPS1212 charges the battery while providing 12V at the output. The red LED stays permanently on. - Powered from battery:
On a mains failure, the supply switches to the battery (transfer < 30 mS). The red LED flashes every second. - Battery overheating:
Charging stops automatically. The red LED stays on longer and goes off for 1 sec. - Low battery voltage:
If the battery drops below a safe limit, the device cuts the supply to the load. The red LED stays off.
