The Arrow AR-7040 are pair of outdoor, directional log-periodic antennas MIMO 2×2 for 4G/5G routers with two ports. The MIMO technique increases the bandwidth of the wireless link with two independent signals on both sides (router ↔ network), delivering higher speeds and better reception.

What is MIMO 2×2?
Two independent antennas receive/transmit simultaneously, increasing throughput and reliability (diversity). Both of the router's antenna ports must be connected.

Important note on MIMO placement
For correct operation MIMO 2×2, the two antennas are mounted with different polarisation: one vertical and one horizontal.
The supplied metal mounting bracket is factory-shaped for vertical mounting.
Mounting the second antenna horizontally requires adapting the same metal bracket and drilling additional mounting holes, done by the installer. A separate dedicated horizontal-mounting bracket is not included.

Adapting the bracket is part of the installation process and should be carried out by a technician or someone with suitable technical experience.
Important Installation Instructions
- Alignment: Aim both antennas toward the same carrier tower.
- Polarisation & Distance: The pair works in vertical & horizontal polarisation; at least 40 cm apart from each other.
- Drain holes: They must always be at the bottom.
- Cables: Use the 2× LMR240 5 m (SMA male) cables from the package, or lower-loss cable if a longer length is needed.
- Mounting: On a vertical mast with U-bolts. Tighten without excessive torque.
